1. Controller and contact
Quantus Tecnologia de Informacion, located at Av. Puerto la Paz 2071, Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, postal code 80160, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy. For privacy matters, write to info@quantusti.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate Q Agro: name, email address, phone number, account and company identifiers, business details, operational records, support messages and subscription status. If you request a demo through the site, we collect your name, email, phone number, operation type, primary need and technical attribution details for the visit. When a user chooses to use those features, we may also process photos uploaded to records and precise location for plot maps, geofences and attendance. If you subscribe to Q Agro email through our voluntary sign-up form, we process your email address, the consent you express in the form, and records of confirmation-message sending, confirmation clicks, list membership and unsubscription, with dates where available. We use these records to manage your choice and verify subscription status.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, maintain customer and company records, provide maps, attendance and operational features, respond to support requests and demo requests, improve product stability and manage subscriptions. Location is requested through device permissions and used for the feature the user activates.
4. Optional commercial communications
Email about Q Agro news, usage tips, updates and offers is optional and is not a condition of access to the service. Our voluntary sign-up form requests specific consent through an initially unchecked box, and we send a message asking you to confirm your subscription through its link. Submitting the form alone does not activate the subscription. You can unsubscribe through the link in each campaign or request this at info@quantusti.com. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not delete your Q Agro account or stop communications needed to provide the service. Creating an account or appearing in our historical records does not automatically add you to this new mailing list.
5. Diagnostics and identifiers
We may process account or device identifiers, usage events and diagnostic data, such as crash reports, to protect the service, analyze performance and fix errors. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or tracking across apps or websites. For messages managed through Brevo, we may record delivery, bounces, opens, clicks and unsubscriptions to verify confirmation, manage the list and evaluate communications. Open measurement may use tracking images and click measurement may use identified links. These events alone do not demonstrate human reading or delivery to the inbox. You can stop receiving marketing email through the unsubscribe link.
6. Service providers
We use Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Storage, Analytics and Crashlytics for authentication, database, storage, analytics and diagnostics. We use Google Maps and location services for map features. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We use Brevo to host the voluntary sign-up form, manage the list and confirmation and unsubscription records, send confirmation messages and authorized campaigns, and review their results. For these functions, Brevo processes the email address and subscription and interaction records described in this policy on behalf of Quantus. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Q Agro.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Web purchases are processed by Paddle. Purchases on iPhone, iPad and Mac are processed by Apple App Store. Android purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not store full card numbers; each provider processes its own payment, tax, invoice, fraud-prevention and refund information under its policies.
8. Security and retention
We use authenticated access and company-level controls to protect information. Demo requests are stored with blocked read access and retained for the time needed for commercial follow-up, security and legal obligations. We retain other data while an account is active and for the time needed for legal, accounting, security and operational purposes. For marketing email, we retain the necessary data while the subscription remains active. After unsubscription, we may retain the necessary evidence of consent and withdrawal and the suppression status to respect your choice and meet applicable obligations. Unsubscribing does not immediately erase all of these records; you can request deletion through the privacy contact stated in this policy.
9. Rights and deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion of your account, demo request or data by writing to info@quantusti.com. Some requests may require us to retain information when needed to meet legal, accounting or security obligations.

Q Agro is intended for businesses and authorized users in agricultural operations and is not directed to children.

12. Artificial intelligence assistant
Q Agro AI features are rolled out gradually according to platform, subscription plan and user permissions. When you authorize their use and submit a query, we process the text you type or dictate and the necessary information from records in the active company that you are permitted to access. Livestock features cover animals, weight records, reproduction and veterinary history, as well as preparing record drafts. The initial agriculture scope supports queries about sowings, crops and varieties, related plots, lots and campaigns, recorded areas, harvests, collection progress, fertilizer applications, pest control and crop-care activities. Context may include reference names and codes, dates, statuses, quantities and recorded units, only when needed and permitted by your access rights. Initial agriculture queries are read-only: they do not create or change records. We do not assume an area unit or add quantities with unknown or incompatible units. AI can make mistakes: review responses and forms before saving. Animal health or feeding guidance does not replace veterinary or nutrition assessment.
13. AI provider and permission
OpenAI receives the query text and the necessary authorized context to interpret it or respond. Before this transfer we request your explicit permission separately from acceptance of this policy. Not enabling AI does not prevent use of other Q Agro features. We do not send the entire database or use another company data to complete your query. Processing may take place outside your country. We use API requests with response storage disabled; this does not remove records the provider may retain for security or abuse prevention. According to OpenAI documentation, API data is not used to train its models by default unless explicitly opted in; abuse-monitoring records may be retained for up to thirty days, subject to its conditions and exceptions. We do not promise zero retention by the provider.
14. Statistics and query recording
We record technical query data, such as company and authorized user, date, category, technical outcome, duration and voluntary Yes/No feedback with an optional reason, to operate quotas, detect failures and improve the service. A completed response does not establish correctness. Recording question and answer text for improvement requires additional optional permission, initially unchecked, and capture must also be enabled for the company and user. Declining text recording still allows AI use if you authorize processing. We do not use these questions as another company context or to train our own models. We do not sell these records. On Apple, statistics and diagnostic texts can be read only by an authorized superuser in the active company. Voice recordings are not stored in these statistical records.
15. AI data retention
This policy version limits retention of diagnostic question and answer texts to thirty days and statistical metadata to three hundred and sixty-five days; configuration may use shorter periods. Reading is blocked after expiry and subsequent cleanup removes expired text and metadata. Operational query recovery has a separate fifteen-minute period. Deleting a statistical record removes its texts and feedback and excludes it from summaries; a minimal marker without content may be kept to prevent reappearance. Deletion does not refund query quota or delete animal operational records. OpenAI provider retention is independent of these periods.
16. Acceptance of new versions and preferences
When a Q Agro version enables this flow, at sign-in or app opening we check whether you have accepted the current privacy policy version. You can read it before deciding. If you decline the policy, we sign you out and do not allow entry until you accept it; this does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. We record company, user, application, version, document fingerprint, server timestamp and permission choices as evidence of what you accepted. AI processing and text-recording permissions are separate and optional, and are not assumed from omission. You can change them in the privacy-policy screen of versions implementing this flow. Revoking capture stops new text records; you can request deletion of existing ones through our privacy channel. Material document changes or longer retention periods require a new version and acceptance. Rollout starts on Apple; Android and Web follow in a later phase.
17. Information you may share
Do not include passwords, API keys, banking details or personal information about others that you are not authorized to process. We apply company access controls and filters for some recognizable credentials, but do not guarantee anonymization of all free text. Provider data controls are available at https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data. You may request access, correction, permission withdrawal or deletion by writing to info@quantusti.com.
18. Optional remote dictation
When local dictation is unavailable in Web, Q Agro offers remote transcription with a separate notice and explicit authorization before enabling the microphone. If you agree, your recording is sent through our protected server to OpenAI solely to convert it into text. OpenAI processes the recording under its own data-handling conditions, which you may review at https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data. Q Agro does not save the recording or its transcription in analytics; audio is processed transiently in memory. The resulting text remains editable in the question field and is submitted as an AI query only when you choose Consult. At that point the ordinary query-processing and optional text-analytics permissions apply. Audio authorization lasts only for the active company and assistant session; leaving or changing context revokes it. You may cancel recording or decline and continue typing. Recordings are limited to two minutes and five MiB in the client; the server also checks the size and format. Operational metadata records your user and company, the audio-notice version, authorization time and attempt count for up to thirty days, without audio or transcript. Remote dictation has a separate configurable daily limit and does not itself consume a logical AI query.
